Diego Luna Joins Disney's Tangled Live-Action

Diego Luna has been cast in Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of "Tangled." The "Andor" star will portray a newly created character in the film.

Filming for the "Tangled" adaptation is scheduled to begin in Spain this June. This project represents a new collaboration between Diego Luna and Disney.

Previously announced cast members include Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider. Kathryn Hahn will take on the role of the antagonist, Mother Gothel. The film is being directed by Michael Gracey.

The original 2010 animated film "Tangled" was a critical and commercial success, grossing nearly $600 million worldwide and marking a significant creative period for Walt Disney Animation Studios.
