Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, 100, and his wife Arlene Silver marked their 14th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a heartwarming video shared on social media. The couple recounted their first meeting in 2006 backstage at the SAG Awards, where Arlene was a makeup artist. Van Dyke described seeing her as a 'vision' and hiring her on the spot. Arlene, 54, shared her perspective, recalling Dick's "big smile" when they first met. She admitted she initially wasn't familiar with his extensive body of work, despite recognizing him from Mary Poppins. The couple emphasized their mutual care and Arlene's awareness of cherishing a 'national treasure.' Van Dyke's previous marriages were to Margie Willett, with whom he had four children, and a subsequent 35-year relationship with Michelle Triola.
