Diane Keaton Embraces Single Motherhood: "I Haven't Been on a Date in 35 Years"

In 2025, acclaimed actress Diane Keaton, now in her 70s, continues to be a devoted single mother to her two adopted children, Dexter and Duke. Keaton adopted Dexter in 1996, shortly after the girl's birth in 1995, and then adopted Duke in 2001.

Over the years, Keaton has been open about her decision to become a single parent later in life. In a 2019 interview, she stated that she has not been on a date in 35 years, prioritizing her independence and the needs of her family. "I've had a lot of independence, and nobody's telling me what to do," Keaton said, reflecting on her fulfilling life.

Keaton's children have largely stayed out of the spotlight, but her daughter Dexter made headlines in 2021 when she got married to her husband, Jordan White. Dexter shared photos from the wedding on social media, including a family portrait featuring Keaton, Dexter, and Keaton's son, Duke.
