Dhyan Sreenivasan Follows in Father's Footsteps, Ventures into Organic Farming

As of September 2025, Malayalam actor Dhyan Sreenivasan has taken a significant step into the world of organic farming. Inspired by his father, veteran actor Sreenivasan, Dhyan has collaborated with the local farmers' association at Kandanad fields to undertake paddy cultivation.

What began as a small two-acre experiment under Sreenivasan's guidance has now grown into an impressive 80-acre farming project. The initiative aims to revitalize previously barren lands, with the final stages of plowing and field preparation currently underway, managed by the farmers' committee led by Sreenivasan.

This move by Dhyan Sreenivasan follows in the footsteps of his father, who had launched a new organic farming venture in 2020. Sreenivasan's project aimed to provide pesticide-free vegetables to consumers and promote sustainable agriculture. Now, Dhyan is carrying forward this legacy, collaborating with local farmers to cultivate paddy and contribute to the revival of the region's agricultural landscape.
