Although officially a fictional work influenced by real events, whispers persist about character inspirations. Maheen is the daughter of Nabil Gabol, a politician affiliated with the Pakistan People's Party. Rumors linked Maheen to an associate of Uzair Baloch, an event that reportedly led to her being sent to Kuwait.
In Dhurandhar, 'Yalina' is depicted as the daughter of 'Jameel Jamali' who falls in love with 'Hamza Ali Mazari.' Their story continues into the sequel, exploring themes of sacrifice and separation. 'Yalina's' role provided emotional depth to the narrative, with Sara Arjun's performance noted for its impactful silences. The film also explores the character of 'Hamza,' played by Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian spy who significantly influences events in Karachi.
