The trailer release for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, originally planned for March 3, has been unexpectedly delayed. This postponement stems from concerns over an impending Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) on the same date, which is considered inauspicious for initiating new ventures.
The auspicious window for new beginnings was reportedly disrupted by the eclipse, which was expected to occur from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm. Since trailer launches often happen around noon, the timing conflicted with this period. Consequently, the makers decided to reschedule.
The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt, was previously slated for a March 5 trailer launch at Mumbai's NMACC, a plan that was later altered for a digital release. The new tentative release dates for the promo are now March 5 or March 6.
Notably, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set for a box office clash with the film Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, whose trailer will be released on March 8.
