13 Dec, 2025
Summary
- Dhurandhar achieved highest second Friday Indian film collection in North America.
- It surpassed Baahubali 2's eight-year-old record in the region.
- The film collected over USD 5 million in its first week.
Dhurandhar has etched its name in the annals of North American box office history by achieving the highest second Friday collection for any Indian film. This remarkable feat overtakes the previous record set by Baahubali 2 nearly eight years ago. The film's performance underscores a significant breakthrough for Indian cinema in international markets.
The momentum of Dhurandhar began with a strong opening weekend, followed by consistent collections throughout its first week. By the end of its initial seven days, the film had garnered an impressive USD 4.4 million. The newly recorded second Friday collection of USD 830,000 has propelled its total earnings beyond the USD 5 million mark.
This success is particularly notable given the enduring legacy of Baahubali 2, which remains the highest-grossing Indian film in the circuit with USD 22 million. Dhurandhar's triumph also reflects Ranveer Singh's established popularity in North America, with his previous films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Padmaavat performing exceptionally well.
