Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar Faces Slow Advance Bookings
1 Dec
Summary
- Dhurandhar's advance booking is significantly slower than Ranveer Singh's last film.
- The film has sold only 9.2K tickets worth 45.8 lakh by December 1.
- Delhi shows promising pre-sales, while Mumbai's booking remains sluggish.

Ranveer Singh's much-anticipated film, Dhurandhar, is facing a slow pace in its advance ticket sales, raising concerns for its box office performance. The film's pre-sales, which began partially on November 29 and fully on November 30, have only managed to garner 45.8 lakh from nearly 9.2K tickets by December 1. This figure is considerably lower when compared to the 3.99 crore gross pre-sales for the opening day of his last theatrical release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The disparity is noticeable across major cities, with Delhi leading the advance bookings at 11 lakh, while Mumbai has only contributed 4 lakh. As of December 1, out of 272 shows available for the opening day, only a few are filling fast or nearly full, indicating a need for increased momentum in the remaining four days before release.
Dhurandhar, helmed by Aditya Dhar and featuring a cast including R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt, has a significant way to go to even feature among Bollywood's top pre-sales on BookMyShow for 2025. The current booking figures present a challenge that the film's team will need to address proactively to ensure a strong opening.
