Dhurandhar: Actor Stunned by On-Screen Violence

Actor Naveen Kaushik, portraying a henchman in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, shared his surprised reaction to the film's intense and violent sequences. He recounted his shock upon seeing the final cut, especially a particularly graphic torture scene, questioning how such content was approved for release. The realism achieved in depicting scenes set in Pakistan left a lasting impression on him.

Kaushik also highlighted the immense scale of the film's production. He recalled visiting the set in Bangkok, where a large area was meticulously recreated to resemble Lyari, a district in Pakistan. This transformation included replicating local shops, houses, and alleys, demonstrating the crew's dedication to authenticity and the project's ambitious scope.

The production set operated like a self-sufficient township for 40 days, housing cast and crew in actual residences and featuring dedicated facilities for costume, makeup, and action teams. This immersive environment underscored the film's extensive production values and attention to detail, contributing to its significant impact and widespread discussion.
