Aditya Dhar's spy thriller, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has made history for Hindi cinema by achieving unprecedented box office numbers. In its first three days, the film collected a remarkable ₹339.27 crore nett in India, with Day 3 alone contributing ₹113 crore nett.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed the ₹500 crore mark, earning an estimated ₹96.50 crore in overseas collections. The film is experiencing tremendous traction in North America, with a release across 4,405 shows. Advance sales for Day 3 alone exceeded two lakh tickets, amassing approximately ₹23.70 crore.
Further highlighting its international success, the film has seen sold-out shows in the UK, including seven houseful screenings in Belfast in a single day. The movie is projected to enter the ₹2,000 crore club worldwide, a feat previously achieved only by Dangal.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is poised to become the biggest Hindi film globally, potentially surpassing its predecessor and other major releases like Jawan and Chhaava. The film, featuring Ranveer Singh as spy Hamza Ali Mazari, is noted for its politics, technical finesse, and performances, all contributing to its box office triumph.
