Ranveer Singh's magnum opus, Dhurandhar 2, is drawing to a close its extensive 79-day theatrical journey, having achieved a staggering 1186.19 crore net in India. This remarkable box office performance, equivalent to 1399.7 crore gross, positions it as the highest-grossing Bollywood film domestically. The film is currently in its 12th week, with projections indicating a final net collection between 1186.25 to 1186.3 crore.

Despite its immense financial success, Dhurandhar 2's opening-day multiplier of 8.2 times is considerably lower than its predecessor, Dhurandhar, which recorded an impressive 31.2 times multiplier. Dhurandhar 2 opened with 145 crore, while Dhurandhar had a more modest start at 28.6 crore. This difference highlights the distinct trajectories of the two films, with the sequel leveraging its strong opening for substantial earnings, while the original capitalized on a smaller start for exponential growth over its run.
