Dhurandhar 2 Nears ₹1150 Cr, Eyes 'Pushpa 2' Record

Aditya Dhar's espionage thriller, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge,' starring Ranveer Singh, continues its remarkable box office run, now entering its 57th day. The film has achieved the status of the highest-grossing Hindi film, approaching the Rs. 1,150 crore domestic milestone. It is currently only Rs. 5.70 crore away from this significant target, with expectations to reach it within days.

The film's next major objective is to surpass 'Pushpa: The Rule -- Part 2's domestic net collection of Rs. 1,234.10 crore. With its current Rs. 1,144.30 crore in 57 days, 'Dhurandhar 2' needs to maintain strong daily earnings for several more weeks to achieve this. A worldwide gross of Rs. 2,000 crore is also a target, though this is a more distant possibility.

'Dhurandhar 2' has demonstrated consistent performance since its Week 1 collection of Rs. 674.17 crore. Subsequent weeks saw substantial earnings, propelling it past previous records. While footfalls are expected to decline with its upcoming OTT release, the film's sustained performance underscores its popularity. The movie, directed by Aditya Dhar, features Ranveer Singh as R&AW operative Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
