As of 2025-10-25T10:13:37+00:00, the Tamil sports action drama Bison Kaalamaadan, starring Dhruv Vikram, has faced a slowdown in its box office performance. The film, which had a promising start, has now dropped below the ₹1 crore mark on day 8, suffering a 48% drop compared to the previous day's collection of ₹1.5 crores.
Despite the recent dip, Bison Kaalamaadan has managed to recover 96% of its reported ₹30 crore budget, with the overall box office collection in India reaching ₹28.08 crores after 8 days. The film is now just shy of ₹2 crores away from being considered a success.
Dhruv Vikram, who made his acting debut with the 2019 film Adithya Varma, is hoping that the success of Bison Kaalamaadan will help him emerge as a bankable star. While his previous film didn't make much noise at the box office, the current performance of Bison Kaalamaadan is a step in the right direction.
The film is facing stiff competition from the movie Dude, which is currently dominating the ticket windows. However, the producers, Applause Entertainment and Neelam Studios, remain optimistic about the film's future prospects as it continues its box office journey.
