Wife Defends Dheeraj Dhoopar's Calm Lock Upp Game

Vinny Arora has spoken out in defense of her husband, Dheeraj Dhoopar, amidst criticism of his 'boring' or 'too calm' gameplay on the reality show Lock Upp. Arora emphasized that what viewers are observing is Dheeraj's authentic personality, characterized by observation and thoughtful reactions rather than manufactured drama.

Arora shared that Dheeraj's main difficulty on the show was the emotional toll of being apart from his family, particularly their young son. She explained that Dheeraj is an introverted individual who prefers home life over social events, making the extended separation a significant challenge.

Regarding Dheeraj's participation in Lock Upp, Arora mentioned that he had previously declined reality shows due to their lengthy commitments. However, the approximately 40-45 day duration of Lock Upp, combined with Balaji's involvement, presented a suitable opportunity for his reality TV debut.

Arora refuted claims that Dheeraj's reserved approach was strategic, reiterating that he naturally observes situations before reacting. She also addressed the 'Shah Rukh Khan of television' tag, clarifying that it was audience-given and not self-proclaimed by Dheeraj.

She expressed concern about Dheeraj having to relive difficult past experiences on the show. Despite reality television not being a typical preference for their household, the entire family is now watching Lock Upp and is proud of Dheeraj's conduct, anticipating further unfolding of his character.
