Box Office Battle: Dhawan's Film Soars, Deol's Struggles

As of the first weekend of June 2026, "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" has demonstrated strong box office performance, earning Rs 9 crore net on its third day alone. The film, starring Varun Dhawan, has accumulated a total India net collection of Rs 24 crore, inching closer to the Rs 30 crore mark. It also garnered Rs 8.50 crore gross overseas, pushing its worldwide gross to Rs 37.30 crore.

Conversely, Bobby Deol's "Bandar" experienced a much quieter opening weekend. On its third day, the film managed only Rs 1 crore net, contributing to an overall India net collection of Rs 2.45 crore. However, "Bandar" did see a bright spot in Chennai, which recorded high occupancy rates for its shows.
