Filmmaker Anil Sharma, a close friend of the Deol family, has revealed intimate details surrounding the final days of legendary actor Dharmendra. Sharma recounted visiting the iconic star at his home, where Dharmendra showed encouraging signs of recovery, opening his eyes and moving his hands. This apparent improvement fostered hope among family and medical professionals that the beloved actor, affectionately known as Bollywood's "He-Man," would regain his strength.

Sharma noted that doctors believed Dharmendra, who was nearing his 90th birthday, was a strong individual capable of overcoming his health challenges. The filmmaker himself held optimism, anticipating a celebration for Dharmendra's birthday on December 8. However, these hopes were sadly unfulfilled as the actor's condition took an unexpected turn.

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89, leaving a profound void in the Indian film industry. His career, spanning over six decades, saw him transition from a romantic lead to an enduring superstar, beloved across generations. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai earlier in the month due to breathlessness.
