Dharmendra Slaps Sanjay Khan for Disrespecting Veteran Actor

Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra is currently hospitalized, with his family clarifying that he is stable and under observation. Amidst death rumors, his co-star and wife Hema Malini has urged fans to pray for his speedy recovery.

Dharmendra is not only known for his iconic on-screen presence but also for his candid and loyal nature off-screen. In the past, the actor has displayed his unwavering support for those he loves, even if it meant resorting to drastic measures.

In one such incident, Dharmendra was at a party in 1965 when he worked with Sanjay Khan in the film 'Haqeeqat'. Reportedly, a drunk Sanjay started speaking ill of other actors in the industry. Dharmendra tried to reason with him, but when Sanjay began disrespecting veteran actor Om Prakash, with whom Dharmendra had shared screen space in the iconic 'Chupke Chupke', the legendary actor could not tolerate it and slapped Sanjay.

Later, Dharmendra felt remorseful and visited Sanjay's brother Feroz Khan's house to apologize. However, Feroz said that Dharmendra was right in his actions and that he would have done the same if he were in Dharmendra's place. Years later, when Sanjay was hospitalized after a tragic accident on the sets of 'Tipu Sultan', Dharmendra visited him in tears, showcasing the depth of their friendship.
