In a recent episode of the reality show Rise and Fall, contestant Dhanashree Verma made a shocking revelation about her marriage with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Dhanashree, who is a dancer and social media influencer, shared that Chahal had been unfaithful within the very first year of their marriage, admitting that she discovered the betrayal as early as the second month.
Dhanashree's confession left her co-star Kubbra Sait visibly shocked. When Kubbra asked Dhanashree when she first realized their relationship would not work out, Dhanashree replied, "In the first year, when I caught him in the second month."
Despite the infidelity, Dhanashree says she continued to respect Chahal as her husband. "Sabke haath mein apni izzat hoti hai, and when you're in a marriage, you're responsible for the other person too. Their respect is also your responsibility," she explained.
The couple officially divorced in March 2025, after living apart for 18 months. Dhanashree has faced massive trolling but says she won't criticize Chahal to clean her own image. "If you want to portray yourself in a good light, let your work speak, why put somebody else down to clean your image?" she stated.
