According to a recent report, Dhanashree Verma has addressed the speculation surrounding her alleged alimony demands from ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal following their divorce. In an interview on the show "Rise & Fall," Dhanashree firmly stated that the claims of her asking for a 60-crore alimony were completely "baseless" and "incorrect."
Dhanashree and Chahal were married for four years after dating for six to seven months. Dhanashree explained that their relationship progressed quickly because it was a mutual decision, and therefore, the talk of alimony is "wrong." She further added that she has been taught by her parents to justify herself only to those she cares about, not the general public.
When asked about clarifying the alimony buzz, Dhanashree expressed that she felt hurt by the rumors and wondered why Chahal had not addressed them. However, she maintained that she will always keep his respect, and now, she does not think she can date anybody else.
Dhanashree's family had earlier issued a strong statement denying the 60-crore alimony claim, calling it "baseless" and "deeply irresponsible" to publish such "unverified information." They urged the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation.
