A leaked minute-long clip from Indra Kumar's upcoming film 'Dhamaal 4' has triggered widespread online ridicule, predominantly targeting the movie's visual effects. The footage, which rapidly circulated on social media platforms, depicts lead actor Ajay Devgn in a scene where he appears to be submerged before triumphantly emerging atop two whales.
Audiences have aggressively criticized the subpar visual effects, with many users on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) noting Devgn's seemingly expressionless face, resembling a "cardboard cutout floating on water." The criticism extends to the perceived lack of effort in Bollywood productions, with comparisons drawn to international standards.
The 'Dhamaal' franchise, which began in 2007, has seen several installments, with 'Dhamaal 4' featuring a cast that includes Devgn, Anil Kapoor, and Johnny Lever, among others. The film is produced by a consortium including Devgn Films, T-Series Films, and Panorama Studios.
