David Zayas will reprise his beloved role of Angel Batista in the second season of Showtime's Dexter: Resurrection. The actor was recently seen filming with series lead Michael C. During filming, Zayas was seen in his characteristic tropical shirt and straw fedora, alongside his leather gun shoulder holster. He was photographed with executive producers Clyde Phillips and Marcos Siega, and executive producer Scott Reynolds. Uma Thurman, also returning to the show as Charley, was seen shooting scenes in Times Square the previous day.
The second season of Dexter: Resurrection will feature Dexter Morgan caught between two killers, one notorious and the other a new threat to New York, all while he navigates a mid-life crisis. His son, Harrison, continues his own journey in law enforcement, facing their darkest chapter together.
Showtime has released first-look photos revealing Harrison's entry into law enforcement. The upcoming season boasts a strong cast including Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, and Gabriel Luna as Ray Ballard. Desmond Harrington, previously a franchise star, has been promoted to series regular for Season 2, indicating a significant role for Joey Quinn. New additions include Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon and Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon.
