Dev to Host Dadagiri: Sourav Ganguly's Successor?

Dev is reportedly in discussions to take over as the host of the acclaimed Bengali quiz show Dadagiri, a role previously held by cricket legend Sourav Ganguly for nearly all its seasons. This potential transition follows the news that Sourav Ganguly is slated to host the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Bangla, prompting the channel to seek a successor with similar mass appeal and fresh energy.

Industry insiders suggest that Dev's popularity as both an actor and a Member of Parliament makes him the ideal candidate. Filmmaker Avijit Sen is expected to direct the new season, which may also feature prominent personalities like Prosenjit Chatterjee as guest mentors. While official confirmation is pending the conclusion of the election season, this potential change is generating significant buzz in Bengali television circles, aiming to blend nostalgia with a new-age appeal.
