Disney has released a captivating teaser trailer for its new musical fantasy film, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. The movie introduces Kylie Cantrall as Red, the rebellious daughter of Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Hearts, and Malia Baker as Chloe, the offspring of Cinderella and Prince Charming.
This latest installment follows the popular franchise's theme of exploring the lives of Disney heroes' and villains' children. Wicked Wonderland picks up after the events of Descendants: The Rise of Red, where Red and Chloe journeyed back in time.
The trailer hints at dire consequences from their temporal meddling, with Red's friend Maddox Hatter now acting erratically. It also reveals lighter changes, such as Red becoming a hero kid with a sister named Pink. The film, featuring returning stars Melanie Paxon, Brandy, Paolo Montalban, and Rita Ora, is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on July 16 and will begin streaming on Disney+ on July 17.
