Derrico Exes in Bitter Custody War Over Child Safety Claims

A bitter custody dispute is unfolding between former Doubling Down with the Derricos stars Deon and Karen Derrico, escalating with new allegations concerning child safety. Deon Derrico claims his ex-wife, Karen, has allowed an individual accused of inappropriate touching to remain in proximity to their children. He asserts that disturbing journal entries from one of their daughters prompted his concerns, which he alleges Karen dismissed.

These accusations emerge as part of an increasingly acrimonious custody battle. Deon states that 12 of their 14 children currently reside with him. Karen, meanwhile, has leveled her own accusations, alleging Deon has deliberately obstructed her contact with their children since April. The former couple shares joint legal custody following their 2024 divorce, making these competing claims highly significant.

Adding to the turmoil, Karen was previously arrested and charged with offenses including harassment and stalking, related to alleged threats against Deon and their children during their divorce proceedings.
