For Derek Hough, the joy of fatherhood has eclipsed his numerous accomplishments on Dancing With the Stars. Hough, who has won six DWTS trophies, recently experienced a profound moment when he brought his 8-month-old daughter, Everley Capri, to the ballroom for the first time.
He described the experience as entering a new era, reflecting that while he had achieved so much in that space over two decades, his greatest achievement was holding his child. Hough and his wife, Hayley Erbert, welcomed Everley in December 2025.
The couple also recently embarked on their latest live tour, during which Everley was a frequent companion. Hough noted that Everley proved to be an excellent traveler, making the tour manageable and enjoyable for the new family.
Currently, Hough is collaborating with Huggies on its Huggies First campaign. This initiative aims to encourage first-time parents to savor and celebrate the myriad of small, precious moments with their children.
