29 May
Summary
- Quaid requests termination of $13,750 monthly child support.
- Payments are sought to end after twins graduate high school.
- Actor also seeks adjustment for a 2026 bonus payment.

Dennis Quaid is seeking to end his monthly child support obligations for his 18-year-old twins, Zoe and Thomas. He filed a modification request in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 22, aiming to stop the $13,750 payments.
According to the terms of their 2018 divorce, Quaid's child support payments were set to conclude once the children finished 12th grade or reached specific age milestones. With Zoe graduating in May and Thomas in June of this year, Quaid believes the obligation has ended.
Furthermore, Quaid has requested an adjustment to a separate 2026 bonus payment. He seeks to have this payment prorated according to each child's graduation date, rather than based on his full-year 2026 income. Quaid was previously married to Kimberly Buffington from 2004 to 2016.
