Denise Richards' Husband Claims Near-Bankruptcy

Denise Richards' estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, has claimed to be on the brink of financial ruin amid their divorce proceedings. Phypers has filed documents requesting an emergency hearing to expedite his spousal support case, citing an urgent need for funds. He asserts he owes $125,000 in back rent and $10,090 in overdue HOA fees, leaving him close to eviction.

According to court documents, Phypers has resorted to asking friends for money to afford basic necessities like food. He stated that he has been unable to secure employment since closing his wellness business, Quantum 360 Club, approximately a year ago. This financial desperation is central to his plea for an earlier hearing than the one scheduled for January 5, 2025.

Phypers is seeking $150,000 from Richards to help him manage his finances, a request she has reportedly opposed. The couple, married in 2018, filed for divorce in July 2025. The legal battle has also involved mutual accusations of abuse, with Richards having recently obtained a permanent restraining order against Phypers, who has denied her allegations.
