Denim Tears and Comme des Garçons Parfums have collaborated on a new fragrance named 'Tears.' This eau de parfum is inspired by the distinct aromas found in Georgia's landscape, particularly the scent of cotton fields after a rain shower.
The fragrance opens with top notes of Galbanum, Ambrettolide, and Sage. It transitions into a heart of Daffodil, Jasmine, Flouve, and Orris, before settling into a base of Vetiver, Hay, Cypriol, and Musk.
Founder Tremaine Emory of Denim Tears described the scent as a personal reflection of his summers in Harlem, Georgia, capturing the essence of red clay, morning dew, and heat. Denim Tears, founded in 2019, focuses on collections inspired by the African diaspora.
The 'Tears' fragrance is scheduled to be released on September 18 at 11 a.m. EST. Consumers can purchase it via the Denim Tears website, African Diaspora Goods in New York City, and at select Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons stores globally.
