Australian music icon Delta Goodrem, aged 41, has returned to Sydney with her husband, Matthew Copley. The couple was seen looking stylish as they arrived at the airport. This homecoming follows an incident where Delta performed with a bandaged hand during her birthday concert in Hobart on November 9. She lightheartedly acknowledged the burn, humorously stating her intention to play the piano with her thumb and five fingers, before removing the bandage to enhance her performance.

The injury was later revealed to be a burn from a kettle, a minor setback for the singer who has been embracing newlywed life. Delta and Matthew Copley married in a lavish ceremony in Malta in June, celebrating their union with friends and family. Delta had previously expressed that she did not plan to sing at her own wedding, preferring to share her music with her fans at her shows.
