13 Nov
Summary
- Delta Goodrem wed Matthew Copley in Malta in June 2025
- Goodrem refused to sing at her own wedding, despite being a famous singer
- The wedding was a "no-expenses-spared" lavish ceremony

In June 2025, Australian singer Delta Goodrem tied the knot with her partner Matthew Copley in a grand, no-expenses-spared wedding ceremony in Malta. However, the one thing Goodrem refused to do on her special day was perform a song, despite being known for her hit singles like "Born to Try."
Goodrem explained that she had "no intention of singing" at her wedding, as she and her husband are already blessed to share their music with audiences on stage. The 41-year-old singer said she didn't feel the need to showcase her vocal talents in front of her family and friends, who already attend her concerts regularly.
The lavish wedding, which was planned by Sarah Young Luxury Events and Weddings and Wonder Event, went off without a hitch. Goodrem stunned in an off-the-shoulder wedding gown designed by South Australian fashion designer Paul Vasileff, which took around 500 hours to create and featured personal touches like the couple's wedding date and cherubs embroidered into the fabric.
