Hulu is preparing a significant awards campaign for the second season of its popular Pakistani American comedy, "Deli Boys." The streamer is submitting the show in 22 categories, aiming for a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding comedy series. The sophomore season is scheduled to be released on May 28, 2026, just before the eligibility window closes.
Saagar Shaikh is submitted for lead comedy actor, while Asif Ali and Brian George are submitted for supporting actor. Newcomers Fred Armisen and Andrew Rannells are also joining the cast, portraying a casino magnate and a district attorney, respectively. Poorna Jagannathan is the sole supporting comedy actress submission for her role as Auntie Lucky.
The campaign will also target guest acting categories, with nominations expected for Kumail Nanjiani, Tan France, and Iqbal Theba for guest actor, and Robin Thede and Lilly Singh for guest actress. The series is also vying for directing and craft categories.
Season 2 continues the Dars' story, navigating the complexities of their inherited criminal empire.
