Delhi is set to host its inaugural AI Film Festival on February 17, 2026. This event, a significant component of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, will unfold at the historic Qutub Minar complex, blending cutting-edge technology with cultural heritage.
The festival aims to explore AI's transformative influence on storytelling and visual arts in cinema. Attendees will experience a curated selection of five to six AI-generated short films from international and domestic submissions.
Beyond film screenings, the event includes insightful panel discussions and an awards ceremony. The focus remains on AI as a creative tool, augmenting rather than replacing human artistry in filmmaking.
To attend, advance registration is mandatory due to limited capacity. Organizers suggest wearing traditional Indian attire, fostering a unique blend of culture and innovation against the backdrop of the Qutub Minar. The festival runs from 6 pm to 10:30 pm.
