Delhi HC Orders Takedown of 'Kala Hiran' Links
27 Jul
Summary
- Court ordered removal of film links from X and YouTube.
- Producer Amit Jani's conduct was strongly rebuked by the court.
- The case involves Salman Khan's personality rights and blackbuck incidents.

The Delhi High Court has mandated the removal of social media links for the film 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy' from platforms like X and YouTube.
During a recent hearing, the court issued stern rebukes to the film's producer, Amit Jani, over his conduct. The legal action was initiated by actor Salman Khan.
The court questioned Jani's audacity and stated his behavior was worsening, suggesting he believed he was above the law.
Jani's counsel argued that the material was merely a teaser and did not infringe on Khan's rights, asserting it contained no deepfake content and that public events lack protection.
Salman Khan's legal team highlighted that he had been acquitted in three out of four blackbuck-related cases, with the fourth sentence stayed, and accused the film of inciting community opposition against the actor.
The court's directive to remove the links comes as the larger legal challenge to the film continues.
