Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the city's cultural influence and the festival's role in making cinema accessible. A key event within 'Her Lens' is a panel discussion titled 'Women in Cinema: Voice, Power, and the Future of Storytelling.' This session will delve into the evolving roles of women in the film industry and explore strategies for building a more inclusive ecosystem.
Guneet Monga highlighted that the partnership aims to bridge opportunity and visibility for women in the industry. Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra expressed support, stating the initiative will encourage more women to share their unique perspectives. The festival will also screen films like 'Pink' and 'Thappad' to foster discussions on women's dignity, justice, and social realities.
