- Netflix Original's third season now set to premiere on November 13

On November 11, 2025, actor Huma Qureshi announced the cancellation of the Delhi Crime Season 3 screening, citing two somber reasons. In her Instagram story, Huma addressed fans and industry peers, explaining that the decision was made due to a "tragic incident in Delhi" and "distressing news about Dharmendra ji's health."
The Netflix Original's third season was originally scheduled to have its screening on the same day. However, Huma emphasized the importance of "quiet respect" during such difficult times, acknowledging the collective anticipation for the show's release. She wrote, "We were looking forward to celebrating together, but such times call for quiet respect."
The Delhi Crime Season 3 premiere has now been rescheduled to November 13. Huma concluded her message with heartfelt words, expressing her hope that the audience will watch the show and "send us love then."
The tragic incident Huma referred to was a deadly car explosion that occurred near the Red Fort in Delhi on the evening of November 10, 2025. The blast resulted in at least 9 deaths and over 20 injuries, with several vehicles catching fire in the aftermath.
Meanwhile, veteran actor Dharmendra is currently admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, where he is reported to be stable and recovering as of November 11, 2025. His family, including Hema Malini and Esha Deol, have confirmed that he is responding to treatment for age-related health issues and complaints of breathlessness.
