Summary
- Harshith Reddy's debut film 'Deewana' is set for OTT release.
- The romantic entertainer will stream on Aha starting July 31.
- The film faced delays due to an 'A' certificate from the Censor Board.
Harshith Reddy's first film as a lead actor, 'Deewana', is transitioning from its theatrical release to an Over-The-Top (OTT) platform. The romantic drama is scheduled to begin streaming on Aha on July 31.
Directed by Srikanth Sangishetty and produced under the banners of Arha Media and V Studios, 'Deewana' had its cinema release on June 20. The film's journey was reportedly affected by an 'A' certification from the Censor Board, leading to a postponement of its release and cancellation of premiere shows.
The team expressed that this 'A' certification, despite their claims of family-suitability, impacted promotional efforts. 'Deewana' stars Harshith Reddy and Smeha Manimegalai, with notable performances from VK Naresh, Jhansi, Balagam Venu, and Tony.
Subscribers of Aha Gold can access the film 24 hours prior to the official release. 'Deewana' will be available in both Telugu and Tamil, aiming for a broad audience reach through its digital debut.
