Deepika Padukone Denies Brahmastra 2 Role

Deepika Padukone will not be a part of Ayan Mukerji's highly anticipated Brahmastra 2. Her spokesperson has firmly stated that all recent reports linking the actress to a key role in the sequel are untrue.

Previously, a report had suggested that Ayan and his team were interested in casting Padukone as Amruta. However, her representatives have now clarified that she has no association with the project whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is confirmed to reprise his role as Shiva, the central character. He is reportedly scheduled to conclude filming for his other project, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 2, by January 2027.

Following a brief preparation period, Kapoor is expected to commence work on Brahmastra 2 in 2027. The first installment, released in 2022, introduced the Astraverse and ended with the mystery surrounding the character of Dev, setting the stage for the sequel.
