Deceased Man Battles Fate in Vibrant Mexico City Musical

In October 2025, the film DED is set to captivate audiences with its unique blend of music, culture, and the afterlife. Directed by the acclaimed López Estrada, the film follows the journey of a recently deceased young man as he struggles to undo his fate and reconnect with his soulmate, all while observing the world spinning on without him.

Described as a "love letter to the timeless comedies of Mario Moreno (aka Cantinflas), Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton," DED is a modern reimagining of a 2015 stage production created by López Estrada and L.A. theater maker Cristina Bercovitz.
