Chaos erupted at the entry gates of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) on Friday ahead of Mohit Chauhan's performance at the annual fest, Kalrav'26. The Students' Union accused security personnel of mismanagement, sharing videos of a large crowd struggling to enter using provided QR codes. Police were observed using batons to control the situation, which occurred around 2 p.m.
Despite the pre-performance disturbances, the college principal, Prof. Hem Chand Jain, confirmed that the event concluded peacefully inside. He noted that approximately 60,000 students attended the festival, which had a capacity of 10,000, and expressed gratitude to the police for ensuring a smooth conclusion.
