Davina Sheffield, a notable figure from King Charles's past who was once rumored to be a potential future queen, has died at the age of 75. Her passing occurred on September 2, as confirmed by her three sons. She succumbed after a short illness, and a memorial service is scheduled for November 2.

Sheffield and the then-Prince Charles were first romantically linked in 1976. Their relationship was considered serious, with some observers calling her his "soulmate." They were frequently seen together at social events, and she even accompanied him to family gatherings at Balmoral, reportedly winning over the Queen Mother.
