Comedians Pete Davidson and Colin Jost are hosting a unique, one-night comedy event aboard their decommissioned Staten Island Ferry. Purchased for $280,000 in 2022, the vessel will be rebranded as the Snapple Island Ferry for an evening of entertainment on September 17. This free event aims to provide New Yorkers with an "unexpectedly refreshing break."
The show, produced by The Stand Group, will feature rising stars from the comedy scene and will be hosted by Davidson and Jost themselves. They humorously noted the unconventional nature of the venture, emphasizing the chance for attendees to "take a break, have a laugh, and do something completely ridiculous."
A limited number of free tickets will be released daily on register.snappleislandferry.com starting September 3 and continuing through September 8, with a limit of one pair per person. The comedy event will take place at 7 p.m. ET on Pier 17 in New York City. Snapple plans to share event highlights and clips on their social media channels for those who cannot be present.
