According to recent reports, acclaimed actor David Harbour is in talks to join Pedro Pascal in "Andor" creator Tony Gilroy's new film "Behemoth!". The Searchlight production is slated to begin filming this fall.
"Behemoth!" is described as a story centered around a cellist, with Gilroy serving as both writer and director. The project marks Gilroy's first directorial effort since 2012's "The Bourne Legacy". Sanne Wohlenberg, one of Gilroy's key collaborators on the Disney+ series "Andor", is set to produce alongside the filmmaker, while fellow "Andor" veteran Damián García will serve as the cinematographer.
In a recent interview, Gilroy revealed that the unique workflow and highly communicative approach developed for "Andor" will directly influence his work on "Behemoth!". He emphasized the importance of maintaining a tightly-knit, efficient creative community, stating that the lessons learned on "Andor" will carry over to all his future projects.
Harbour, an Emmy and Tony-nominated actor, is known for his roles in films like "Hellboy", "Black Widow", and the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things". He most recently appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film "Thunderbolts" and is set to star in the upcoming "Stranger Things" and "DTF St. Louis".
