Umbrella Academy Star in Home Invasion Thriller

David Castañeda has been cast in a significant role in an upcoming, as-yet-untitled home invasion film from Lionsgate. He will star alongside Aimee Carrero, with production recently concluding in Los Angeles. The film centers on Lorena Figueroa, portrayed by Carrero, whose primary concern is her son's safety, making their home security system paramount.

The narrative escalates as the security cameras become helpless witnesses to a terrifying home invasion. Masked assailants relentlessly pursue mother and son, creating a real-time nightmare. Castañeda is set to play Ben, the doctor and husband of Lorena.

This indie horror-thriller is directed by Julian Labrádor, who also co-wrote the script. The project highlights Castañeda's continued presence in major productions following his roles in Neon's Splitsville and Lionsgate's Ballerina.
