Victoria Beckham Reveals David's Plea That Convinced Her to Rejoin Spice Girls

According to a new docuseries, Victoria Beckham, 51, has opened up about her reluctant return to the Spice Girls in 2008. She explains that her husband, David Beckham, 50, encouraged her to join the reunion tour, saying "it's really good for the kids to see you do this." Victoria jokingly admitted, "He mum-guilted me!"

During the 2008 tour, Victoria recalled feeling like "Posh Spice" again after being away from the stage for so long. However, she soon realized that performing was no longer her true passion. "It had been fun but it wasn't what I loved anymore," she said.

In the years since, Victoria has focused on building her successful fashion empire. Meanwhile, in a 2024 interview, Spice Girls member Mel B hinted that the group was planning another reunion, though she acknowledged she may get "told off" for revealing the news.
