Darkwing Duck Reboot Records First Scene, Work Underway

Voice actor Jim Cummings has indicated that production is progressing on the Darkwing Duck reboot for Disney+. He shared in a recent interview that the initial recording sessions for the series have already taken place. This long-planned revival is being executive-produced by Seth Rogen. Cummings also commented on creative directions for the show, mentioning that the character Gosalyn has undergone a significant change and is now depicted as grown up.

The original Darkwing Duck animated series, created by Tad Stones, originally aired between 1991 and 1992. It centered on the adventures of Drake Mallard, who donned a masked superhero persona to fight crime. The announcement of recorded sessions suggests active development for the new Disney+ iteration.
