Dark Souls Manga Continues, Game Unlikely

Dark Souls 4 is considered highly unlikely by fans and developers, with creator Hidetaka Miyazaki suggesting the trilogy provided a complete narrative. FromSoftware has since focused on new projects like Elden Ring. However, the Dark Souls universe is experiencing a revival through its officially licensed manga.

The third volume of the Dark Souls: Redemption manga series is scheduled for release on September 22, 2026. This installment follows previous critically acclaimed volumes, "Humanity Lost" (2024) and "Bonfire" (released last July). These manga offer entirely new adventures within the Dark Souls lore.

The upcoming 192-page volume promises a continuation of original stories, exploring themes of hope and survival in a world consumed by ash and despair. It serves as proof of the franchise's lasting potential, demonstrating that new narratives can thrive even if direct game sequels are not forthcoming.
