Daredevil Won't Join Avengers: Cox Confirms 'Secret Wars' Snub

Charlie Cox has definitively stated that his character, Daredevil, will not be featured in the upcoming film 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' scheduled for December 2027. This confirmation comes after considerable fan speculation fueled by his recent appearances in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and the series 'Born Again.' During a panel at MCM Comic Con, Cox directly addressed the rumors, humorously asserting his honesty and ruling out any involvement with the Avengers.

Previously, the actor had also denied rumors of his participation in the 'Spider-Man' films, a claim that turned out to be accurate, unlike some fan predictions. Cox will, however, reprise his role as Daredevil in the third season of 'Born Again,' which is slated for an early 2027 release. Meanwhile, 'Avengers: Doomsday,' featuring an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, is set to premiere on December 17, 2026.
