Dyer & Daughter's Caravan Park Challenge

A new television series, "Dyers' Caravan Park," features actor Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani as they experience the day-to-day operations of a caravan park. The show is filmed at a park in Leysdown-on-Sea, on the Isle of Sheppey, with the hope of raising the profile of the location.

Park manager Darren Lawrence, who has extensive experience on the island, believes the program will introduce the area to a broader audience. He noted that the filming process was an eye-opener for the Dyer duo and a significant undertaking for the park's management, who continued to run the business alongside the production.

Sales manager Tanya Dolan expressed enthusiasm for the show, anticipating it will drive more visitors to holiday on the island, which boasts blue flag beaches, rich history, and outdoor activities. Dolan, a lifelong resident, supports initiatives that promote the region.

Both Lawrence and Dolan acknowledged the demanding nature of television production. Lawrence spoke of a newfound respect for the work involved, while Dolan looks forward to the potential economic benefits for the Isle of Sheppey. The series is available on Sky One.
