In November 2025, actress Danielle Fishel, who is currently competing on season 34 of 'Dancing with the Stars', is facing challenges at home with her 6-year-old son Adler. Fishel, who shares two sons with husband Jensen Karp, has had to make significant adjustments to her daily routine since joining the reality dance competition.
Fishel explains that while her family was initially "thrilled" and "stoked" about her participation, things took a turn when she received a call from Adler's school. The teacher shared that Adler had been struggling to self-start on some of his schoolwork, and had even told the teacher that his dad had recently lost his job and that his mom had died - which was not true.
When Fishel went to pick up Adler from school, he was visibly upset, telling her, "I hate this job. Why did you take this job? All you do is dance, dance, dance, dance. That's all you do. You never get to hang out with me and Keaton anymore. I want you to quit. Are you going to quit or not?"
Despite Fishel's attempts to explain her reasoning for staying on the show, Adler remained adamant that she should quit. Though the situation is still ongoing, Fishel has decided to continue her commitment to 'Dancing with the Stars', even after being eliminated from the competition last week.
