Daniel Lubetzky, founder of Kind Snacks and a 'Shark Tank' investor, is launching a new weekly video podcast titled 'Build or Break' on September 3. The series aims to explore the "defining failures" and critical setbacks that have shaped accomplished individuals across various fields, moving beyond their successes.
The premiere episode will feature interviews with Kevin O'Leary, Chris Paul, and Kendra Scott. Future guests announced include Matthew McConaughey, Chip and Joanna Gaines, and Mark Cuban, among others. Lubetzky's core philosophy for the show is that highly successful people are comfortable facing uncomfortable situations.
In conjunction with the podcast launch, Lubetzky is also introducing an interactive, free pop-up museum in New York City titled 'The Art of Failure.' Open from September 3-5, this installation will showcase artifacts representing imperfect journeys, such as rejection letters and failed prototypes, celebrating the role of setbacks in achievement.
Lubetzky, a social entrepreneur and Holocaust survivor's son, views his Builders initiative and the podcast as a means to promote constructive problem-solving and societal progress. He has conducted 30 interviews to date for 'Build or Break,' with plans for many more, aiming to create a financially self-sustaining program.
